I don't see it mentioned, but its red,green,blue, max number is 255. So 255,255,255 is white. 255,255,0 is yellow (red and green make yellow). Green and Blue make Cyan, Red and Blue make Magenta. From there its just a matter of toning it down. 128,128,128 is medium gray. 128,128,160 is a bluer gray. 64,64,0 would be a dark yellow. 0,128,0 would be a medium green. 0,0,255 would be bright blue.

I use my initials, converted to hexadecimal, then converted to RGB. Makes a nice shade of gray.

I remember (Badly) them beige being there.

If you are serious (most aren't), you click on the color that you like in the rgb color chart. At the top it gives you the value (RGB) of that color. Then you pull the console down and I think it's /cg_rgb followed by the number from the chart.
